ashley's at-home workout 💪
my perfect dorm-friendly routine — no gym, no equipment, no jumping, no noise complaints. just you, a chair, a wall, and 25 minutes of strong-girl energy.
how it works ✨
warm up (3 min) → circuit A three times → circuit B three times → the finisher → stretch it out. rest about 60 seconds between rounds, sip water whenever. all you need is a little floor space — if you can fit a yoga mat, you can do this whole thing.
warm-up 🌸
30 seconds each, no rest between — just flow.

march in place30 sec
lift those knees, swing your arms — wake everything up gently.

arm circles30 sec
small circles, then big ones. shoulders say thank you.

hip circles30 sec
hands on hips, draw big slow circles both ways.

good mornings30 sec
soft knees, hinge at the hips with a flat back. hello, hamstrings.

easy squats30 sec
half-depth and slow — just greasing the groove.
circuit A — legs & glutes 🍑
run all five moves back to back, rest a minute, repeat × 3.

bodyweight squats× 15
sit back like there's a chair behind you; chest tall, knees track over toes.

glute bridges× 15
feet flat, drive through your heels, squeeze 2 seconds at the top. the dorm-famous one.

reverse lunges× 10 / leg
step back, hover the back knee, drive up through the front heel. hold a chair if you're wobbly — no shame.

bulgarian split squats× 8 / leg
back foot up on your chair or bed edge. slow down, strong up. this is the spicy one.

wall sit40 sec
back flat on the wall, thighs parallel, breathe. you vs. the clock.
circuit B — arms, back & core ✨
same deal: all five, rest, × 3.

incline push-ups× 10
hands on your desk or bed edge, body in one line. harder: move to the floor; easier: use the wall.

backpack rows× 12
backpack stuffed with books = your dumbbell. hinge, row it to your ribs, squeeze your shoulder blades.

chair dips× 10
hands on a sturdy chair behind you, elbows bend straight back. triceps era.

dead bugs× 10 / side
low back glued to the floor, opposite arm + leg reach long. slow = strong core.

plank shoulder taps× 16
hips stay level — imagine balancing a water bottle on your back. or hold a plain plank for 30 seconds.
the 4-minute glow finisher 🔥
40 seconds on, 20 seconds off, one time through. this is the part that makes you feel UNSTOPPABLE.

standing knee drives40 sec
quiet cardio: drive one knee up at a time, core tight, light feet.

squat to calf raise40 sec
squat, stand, rise onto your toes. smooth and controlled.

bicycle crunches40 sec
elbow to opposite knee, legs long. slow enough to actually feel it.

glute bridge hold40 sec
top of the bridge, squeeze, breathe, don't let those hips drop.
cool-down 🧘♀️
two slow minutes: figure-4 stretch on the floor, standing quad stretch holding your desk, chest opener in a doorway, then three of the deepest breaths of your day. done. you did it.
my weekly rhythm 📅
ready to level up? add books to the backpack, slow the lowering part of every rep to 3 seconds, pulse twice at the bottom of your squats, or add a 4th round. small upgrades, big era energy.
